Tali Berman is an Autism specialist at www.taliberman.com
She provides wonderful advice for parents of children with autism and also has supportive information for parenting in general. Below is a written script of the positive affirmations in her video. If you find it helpful, read the sentences aloud to yourself. Close your eyes and allow the words to penetrate your heart. I found it very powerful to do it with the video. It feels different to hear someone else’s voice saying these words aloud, yet it is also very powerful to say them aloud to yourself.
As Tali mentions in the video, pay attention to how you feel saying these words. How much do you believe these words? Self-love is like a muscle. If you say these words on a daily basis and stay as open to them as you can, you will begin to believe them more each day. Try doing this exercise for a week and see if you feel differently at the end of seven days. Enjoy and continue loving yourself exactly as you are!
"I am enough.
My life is full of blessing.
I am healthy, vital and alive.
Who I am is independent of what I do.
I have the power to achieve my goals.
I am a gift to the people in my life."
I bless you to learn how to fully love and embrace yourself, exactly as you are. Know that you are doing the best you can and that you are enough.
May you feel blessed on your parenting path and realize how much you are loved.
